Don't judge the book by the cover! The tent covered bar deck made us do a double take, but we were so grateful we stayed! Service was fantastic and the food was amazing! I had the fish dinner, wife and FIL had the shrimp, and boys shared the kid's fish nuggets which they loved that we ordered a second one. The grilled veggies side was probably the best out of any restaurant I've been to. Definitely make the stop here if you're in Matagorda!

Small roadside seafood joint that was perfect after a hot night camping on Matagorda Island. We sat next to a huge fan to cool us off from the hot August day drinking a Twisted Tea and Snapper sandwich blackened. The waitress was really great and even gave my friend's son a homemade cupcake when we left that could compare to the best made ones of the city. Enjoyed the atmosphere of this outside seafood place and the food was fresh and well made.

5/4/24...walked the beach today and stopped for supper. Ordered the snapper meal with cucumber salad and onion rings. Busy during the off season. The blackened snapper was perfect. The cucumber salad cup has a comforting taste. The onion rings were not greasy and the breading was tasty. Can't go wrong here. Stopped for an early supper while spending a day at the beach. Had the snapper meal with fries and cucumber salad. The fish had a good taste and the cucumber salad was refreshing. The site is a large tent with picnic tables and a small bar with a TV. The open air tent allows the breeze to blow through the tent. There is a food truck where the meals are prepared. Friendly staff and customers.

Food was so good! Even our picky kids ate all their food and my son actually wanted to go back. So we'll be stopping there again when we go back! Oh and I had a hurricane, it was yummy!

Walked up, asked fa a menu. Then a customer said with vigor, you won't go wrong with the hamburger. It's homemade. I ordered the hamburger. I'm 61 years old. That was the best tasting hamburger made at a restaurant I ever had. I was so surprised being the place is on the water. I didn't think hamburger. Maybe seafood. Ever time I go to Patagonia, it'll be Snappers fa me

Was happily surprised by the shrimp poboy. The shrimp was plump and fresh. I'd order again. The alligator balls, not so great but it was worth the try. Sunday DJ played a good mix and I beat my dad in connect 4... Every time.
